Hard May Flyer

Today was the 2009 South West Road Club’s May Flyer. I vowed this year to not try and get on the wheel of a fast group early on as that enevitably leads to pain later in the day. I kept this up for about 30 miles which meant I was riding mostly solo but humming along nicely when a pair of faster riders caught me and I did catch their wheel until the halfway point. After that I was quite quickly dropped and so that allowed me to enjoy the headwind on the return journey. I was at least pleased t

Easy Grip Tweezers

I find ordinary handles too hard to turn. What can I do? Dug Vs. Elden: Race Report

If Dug were a car racing video game, he would be one of those where you have to earn your turbo boost — but once you’ve got it, you get to keep it. I would also be the kind where somehow the console senses you’re about to press Start and immediately turns on the Nitrous, Turbo Boost, and mashes th

Memorial Day Tri: Swim, Bike, Eat

I temporarily re-joined the New Triathlete’s Program for the traditional three sports with which to celebrate Memorial Day: swim/bike/eat throwdown at Sandy Point Park , just outside of Annapolis. (I apparently need to actually buy a camera, because Someone decided she wants her own camera back. Sheesh. Kids.) Maybe you’ve heard? Swimming isn’t my strong suit?
